Both our steel service center locations possess onsite A2LA accredited steel testing laboratories. Each state-of-the-art lab is equipped with Fison chemical spectrometers for complete and accurate chemical analysis.

The labs also feature Instron Tensile Testing equipment that provides thorough mechanical test results including yield, tensile, and elongation, as well as R and N values. Our labs are equipped to test to both ASTM and JIS specifications.

In addition, both labs are available for third-party testing, should the need arise. We provide a full chemical and mechanical certification with every shipment.

Technical Service Assistance

Lee Steel offers full-time Technical Service representatives to assist customers with material specifications, PPAP packages, and quality reports.

Our Technical Service team is available to assist customers on-site with tool and die issues, perform circle grid strain and thinning analyses, and can take samples and provide microstructure analyses and inclusion test reports.
